Three musical themes for your night with friends

Spending time with friends is a favourite activity of many. It doesn’t even really matter what you’re doing with your friends, just their presence on their own will already make for a great night. However, there’s one general discussion that many friends have: what music will be played. Music is fully subjective, so finding something that everyone enjoys, can be quite hard. Creating a playlist can be a good idea, but in this blog, we’ll try to inspire you by listing three musical themes for your night with friends. Get inspired!

  1. Festival

If you want to play something that everyone will enjoy, playing festival music is the way to go. This type of music is often based around hardstyle and other forms of electronic music, that just makes you automatically feel good. This music will make everyone feel happy and could be a great start for a night of dancing with friends. This is especially fun if your group of people is a little bit bigger, as this will create a truly special atmosphere. Artists like Avicii, Daft Punk and Swedish House Mafia simply can’t miss in your festival playlist!

  1. Casino night

Playing games with friends is always an incredible amount of fun. If you and your friends are into casino games, such as Poker, Baccarat or other lucky games, organizing a casino night will be a lot of fun. Everyone puts a little bit of money on the line and you’re ready to go. As far as the music goes, you want to create the atmosphere of a casino. In casinos, there’s often a live band playing jazz, or other lounge music. This might not be your first pick, but to create a certain tension, this music is perfect. Of course, you don’t have to make your own playlist: tons of casino jazz playlists can be found online.

  1. The Classics

Shouting along with some old classics with friends is all you want on the perfect night. Musical taste gets thrown away, because everyone likes these classics. You can go far back in time, or reminisce about times that are nostalgic to you and your friends. The 70’s, 80’s and 90’s have tons of great music for your night, but if you’re a little bit younger, the music of the 00’s and 10’s can already be very nostalgic as well. Still, everyone will enjoy the music of Queen, Billy Joel and the Rolling Stones, no matter how old you are!

What will you go for?
