Beyoncé Cécred London Launch Gets a Harris Reed Corset Moment

The Beyoncé Cécred London launch arrived this week with the kind of image that collapses the distance between a beauty brand event and a fashion editorial: a sculpted white Harris Reed corset, a blazer worn off the shoulders, and a ponytail of voluminous curls falling over one side.

Beyoncé took the stage at a London event marking Cécred’s UK arrival, wearing a look from Harris Reed’s Spring 2027 collection. The centrepiece was a structured corset top with an exaggerated sweetheart neckline that dipped dramatically low, its bodice tapering into pointed, curved panels at the hips. The sharply engineered construction produced an hourglass silhouette; subtle floral detailing across the fabric added surface interest without competing with the shape. Over the corset she wore a coordinating white blazer, left fully open, which gave the ensemble a tailored finish while keeping the neckline unobscured. Large hoop earrings, a diamond choker and a matching bracelet supplied the glitter the otherwise all-white palette withheld.

Cécred’s UK Expansion and What the London Event Signals

The occasion was more than a fashion moment, of course. The Beyoncé Cécred London launch represents the brand’s formal entry into the UK market. According to Cosmetics Business, Cécred is now stocked in 90 Space NK retail stores across the country, a rollout that anchors the brand in one of the UK’s most visible beauty retail networks.

Cécred launched in February 2024 as an eight-piece hair care line before expanding into hair tools the following year. The pace since has been considerable: in April 2025, the brand landed in more than 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores and online in the US, a move Cosmetics Business described as the retailer’s largest-ever hair care rollout. The London event marks the next chapter in that international build-out.

For context on where the brand now stands, Fortune reports that Cécred has accumulated 89 beauty industry awards since its launch. That is a number worth sitting with: not every celebrity-founded hair care line accumulates that kind of industry recognition, and it suggests the product has been assessed on terms beyond its founder’s profile.

The Harris Reed Corset and the Logic of the Look

The choice of Harris Reed for this particular appearance carries its own register. A London event calls for a London designer, and the Spring 2027 corset reads in that context as something deliberate: a nod to the city hosting the brand’s UK debut rather than a generic red-carpet loan. The all-white palette echoed the clinical clarity often associated with beauty and wellness branding, while the corset’s architecture pulled firmly in the opposite direction from anything understated.

There is a logic, too, in the pairing of a sculpted garment with a hair-focused brand event. Beyoncé’s ultra-high ponytail, swept to one side in voluminous curls, was as much a product demonstration as a styling choice, her hair as deliberately presented as the Harris Reed construction beneath it. Warm makeup, bronzed skin, defined eyes and a nude-pink lip completed the image without distracting from either element.

The Beyoncé Cécred London launch thus operated on several frequencies at once: a commercial announcement dressed as a fashion moment, a hair care brand introduced through a look that made the hair as central as the clothes. Whether arriving as a beauty consumer or a fashion observer, there was something to read in the image, and Beyoncé, as ever, left both readings open.

Cécred’s UK presence across 90 Space NK locations is available now.
